Important Information
Our North Terminal is open for flight arrivals and departures and all flights to and from Gatwick are temporarily operating only from this terminal.
Short Stay Parking
The North Terminal multi-storey car park is open for all customers who are intending to park at Gatwick, or to pick-up / drop-off passengers travelling from the North Terminal.
The South Terminal multi-storey car park is currentle closed through the national lockdown.
Long Stay Parking
Both the North and South Terminal Long Stay car parks will remain closed throughout the national lockdown.
If you have an existing booking for North Terminal Long Stay, your booking will be automatically accepted at the North Terminal multi-storey car park.
Valet Parking
Valet Parking is closed in both North and South Terminal in line with the national lockdown.
If you have an existing booking for North Terminal Valet Parking, your booking will be automatically accepted at the North Terminal multi-storey car park.
Safety Measures
Our priority is to ensure that all our passengers and staff at the airport keep healthy and safe and follow the UK Government’s guidelines. There are four key things we would like you to do as you travel through the airport to protect yourselves and your fellow passengers. These are displayed throughout our car parks and terminals:
- Wear a face covering while travelling through Gatwick
- Maintain social distancing
- Wash your hands regularly
- Keep your hands clean on the go by using hand sanitiser
Please remember that you are required to follow government legislation and wear a face covering on all public transport. Further details of Covid-19 safety measures are displayed below for each of our car park options.

Make a New Booking
You can make new bookings for Official Gatwick Parking with confidence as our flexible cancellation policy allows you cancel free of charge up to 24 hours prior to travel.
You can also view and amend your booking details quickly and conveniently in Manage Orders.
Short Stay Parking
Our Short Stay car parks are located next to the terminal, providing quick and convenient direct access. There is no maximum stay duration and in addition to advance bookings the Short Stay North car parks remains open for drive-up customers who are intending to pick-up / drop-off travelling passengers.
As part of our COVID-19 special measures, the main touch points within the car parks, including Lifts, Trolley bays and Payment machines, are sanitised at regular intervals. Please follow all directional signage to make sure your movement around the car parks are as safe as possible.
We would encourage our customers to make any payments by credit / debit cards at the exit barriers rather than to queue at payment machines.
Valet Parking
Valet Parking is closed in both North and South Terminal in line with the national lockdown.
If you have an existing booking for North Terminal Valet Parking, your booking will be automatically accepted at the North Terminal multi-storey car park.
Long Stay Parking
Both the North and South Terminal Long Stay car parks will remain closed throughout the national lockdown.
If you have an existing booking for North Terminal Long Stay, your booking will be automatically accepted at the North Terminal multi-storey car park.
Customers will not be able to access the “two hours free parking” offer while the Long Stay car parks remain closed.
Lounges, Premium Security and Passport Control
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all lounges at Gatwick are currently closed. Check back regularly to see reopening dates.
If your lounge access is provided by your airline or another provider, we advise you to contact your airline or the relevant lounge directly for more information.
Premium Security and Premium Passport Control are also closed due to low passenger numbers and government restrictions and will reopen when the time is right.
