How London Gatwick Long Stay Parking works

Peak season travellers or those going away for a long period of time can benefit from our Long Stay parking with excellent value for money and security. We’ve kept the process as simple as possible to give you a stress-free start to your trip.
Parking at Long Stay couldn’t be simpler. Drive up to the barrier and wait for your registration to be scanned. Once it has been scanned, the barrier will open. From here, follow the signs to the open parking zone and find a space.
If the barrier does not open automatically after 15 seconds, press the intercom button for assistance.
For longer stays we recommend parking in one of our Long Stay car parks, just a short free bus ride away with busses every 10 to 12 minutes all year round. The price is £38 per day for the first day and £32 for subsequent days. To avoid disappointment and secure the best rate it is cheaper to pre-book your Long Stay parking.
For those picking someone up from the airport, the first two hours are free.
Travelling with children for a family holiday can be stressful. Help your holiday become stress free by using our family friendly parking bays at Long Stay Parking.
Our family friendly parking bays are right next to the bus stops where you can get on the shuttle, making your journey quicker and easier. Both the North Terminal and the South Terminal have their own long stay car parks with these family friendly bays.
Once you have parked, head to the nearest bus stop before jumping on the free shuttle bus which will take you directly to the terminal. It usually takes between 10 to 12 minutes to reach the terminal buildings.
Please bear in mind that during peak holiday times the shuttles may be busier than usual, so you should allow an extra few minutes. Buses run every 10 to 12 minutes so you shouldn't have to wait too long to get your trip started.
We have also partnered with AccessAble, the UK’s leading accessibility information provider, to create detailed access guides for our car parks. The guides cover information about blue badge parking, how to get assistance and the routes into our terminals.
When you return, hop on one of the regular shuttle buses directly to the Long Stay car park. Our shuttle buses run throughout the day and night, perfect if you have a late-night flight.
